Powai is a suburban neighbourhood situated on the bank of Powai Lake. It lies to the north-east of Mumbai. Surrounded by L.B.S. Marg (old Mumbai-Agra Road) to the north-east, Sanjay Gandhi National Park to the north, hills of Vikhroli Parksite to the south-east, and Chandivali to the south-west, Powai hosts offices of several corporate giants such as Deloitte, CRISIL, and Bayer, amongst others. Powai is well-connected with the other major localities such as Chembur, Mulund, Ghatkopar, and Kurla, amongst others, via the Eastern Expressway and LB Road.
